The Michigan Renaissance Festival is an interactive outdoor event that focuses on recreating the look and feel of a fictional English village called Hollygrove during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I in the latter half of the 16th Century. With all the cool things to see, perhaps the large number of patrons in costume that attend the festival are one of the favorites. Look for any number of nobles, pirates, Vikings, wizards, rogues, wenches, and an assortment of fantasy characters. A fun for the family event!
